Youth in action

Safir is an ambitious project supporting youth and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 9 countries across Northern Africa and the Middle East. Co-financed by the European Union, it will support more than 1,000 young project leaders involved in entrepreneurial projects with social, cultural and environmental impact, the development of a regional network of organisations supporting social entrepreneurship, and the creation of spaces for dialogue between youth and governmental authorities.

1000 young people will be supported in or from 9 countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya (diaspora), Morocco, Palestine, Syria (diaspora), Tunisia.

The project will work in collaboration with civil society organisations and incubators/accelerators serving youth of those countries. Applications are now open, and will close June 26, 2020.
