Screen Breaks For Wellbeing At Work

Zena, one of our amazing Bloom Wellbeing Fellows, shares a practice with us to help us maintain wellbeing while working on a computer.

If you have wrist pain, or feel your eyes weakening, consider installing an app to remind you to take breaks. We’ve tried TimeOut for Mac, and Workrave for Windows and Linux.

These apps work by setting periodic reminders to take a break. Zena suggests we lean back in our chairs and feel our weight against the seat back look away from the screen and feel yourself sink backward.
